Until May 2023, the company was known as MTN GlobalConnect. The transition to a new brand is a shift to an open-access business model structured to serve all industry participants and add value to stakeholders and partners.

Key highlights: 108,000KM of open access fibre, 235 Landing stations access, 54 countries across Africa including Kenya.
